Thanks to the Houston Parks Board, the Buffalo Bayou Partnership, and Houston Audubon, Jane Kim of Ink Dwell Studios is transforming retaining walls into works of art.
Titled Confluence, her 223-foot-long mural showcases the migratory birds of Houston on retaining walls designed by Aguirre & Fields. Director of Transportation Rick Carle, P.E., ENV SP designed the walls as part of the TIGER Trails Project along the convergence of the White Oak and Buffalo Bayous in downtown Houston.
