Starting as a project manager and a structural engineer with leadership responsibilities for communities in Central Texas, Dave has led some of our most impactful Central Texas projects for the cities of Austin, Georgetown, Round Rock, Travis and Williamson Counties, and the Texas Department of Transportation. Dave’s first project at Aguirre & Fields was the ACEC Texas Engineering Excellence award-winning College Street Bridge Improvements project, which improved safety and mobility for the 2,500+ people per day at the San Gabriel Park in Georgetown, TX. He has a long-standing reputation for his love of community, his drive to serve, and his outstanding client service.

Dave is an active member of the community, recently serving as the Chair of the Central Texas Chapter, American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) and a previous President of the Austin Branch, American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). He is passionate about family, including rescue pets, learning, fitness, and enjoying life’s journey.
