April serves as the Chief People Officer, responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the business plan and vision of the company. She oversees the hiring process and develops staffing forecasts and needs so that Aguirre & Fields can achieve its Vision. She provides overall care, leadership, and guidance to our people as well as fostering a culture to recruit, reward, and retain highly motivated and qualified leaders.
April is committed to creating a culture of belonging, where everyone feels valued and included. She inspires people to be their best. April brings experience in human resources leadership from different industries that help us diversify our thinking. She values transparency across our company, creating a safe learning environment.
April spent time in HR leadership positions at Target, Best Buy, and Kohl’s before she joined Aguirre & Fields. April has an undergraduate degree in communications and a master’s degree in Human Resources Development. She volunteers at a non-profit, Dress for Success, in the OKC area and attends Life Church.
