In May, TxDOT experienced a systems outage which included their contract administration system, Site Manager. The outage occurred just days before their monthly reconciliation process for contractor payments began and left staff with limited options for generating pay estimates or schedule of working days reports.
On May 15th, TxDOT informed Aguirre & Fields of the outage. Working closely with the team from HeadLight, and utilizing their photo driven inspection and verification technology, our construction inspection teams were able to deliver a new fully functional business process and data output solution for theI-30/SH 360 Interchange Project, and other project partners, by May 26th.
