Aguirre & Fields Names Moczygemba Dir. of Planning & Program Mgmt

Aguirre & Fields, a leading engineering company in Texas and Oklahoma, is excited to announce Jennifer Moczygemba, P.E. as the Director of Planning and Program Management.

“Planning and Program Management will focus on identifying growing communities with long-range needs and providing guidance for reimagining solutions to better serve their residents and our neighbors,” says Moczygemba. “We will also be able to provide support in matching funding opportunities with their short and long-term plans and keep them on track with purposeful monitoring.”

“Jennifer’s expertise is a new service line for us and complements what we currently do in the construction and transportation engineering world,” says President Dave Lubitz, P.E. “We are very excited she chose to join us. I’m particularly excited that she will be working with our Communities Teams to help rapidly growing cities and counties navigate the planning process to prepare for the population growth happening all over.”  

Moczygemba is an alumna of University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering. She is currently pursuing an MBA from Oklahoma State University. 

She brings 29 years of experience with a broad background in transportation planning, including multimodal transportation (rail, freight, bike/pedestrian), Federal Transit Administration work, Texas port planning, and highway/toll financing programs. She has served as a construction and mobility engineer for the TxDOT Bexar Metro Area Office and San Antonio District, as well as the Multimodal and Rail System Section Director for TxDOT’s Transportation Planning and Programming and Rail Divisions.

Following TxDOT, she worked for several engineering consultant firms, and has remained active in several association and societies, such as AASHTO, AREMA, TSPE, and WTS. 

“Staying active in these communities provides me with unique perspectives from colleagues across the nation to address the challenges we face locally in transportation today,” says Moczygemba. “Aguirre & Fields provides an executive level opportunity which allows me to utilize my decades of experience and high-level problem-solving skills to implement innovative solutions within our growing communities.”
