Aguirre & Fields Announces New Associates

Aguirre & Fields, a leading engineering company in Texas and Oklahoma, is pleased to announce the addition of five new associates:

  • Nazeer Ahmed, P.E., Houston CEI Project Manager
  • Paul Hahn, P.E., Austin Roadway Team Lead
  • Elizabeth Hazzard, P.E., Oklahoma City Roadway Team Lead
  • Eugene Lee, P.E., Structures Group Lead
  • Ryan J. Williams, P.E., Austin Structures Project Manager

Introduced in October 2019, the Aguirre & Fields Associates Program was developed to transition current employees to future partners, becoming partial owners of the company.

“Becoming an associate gives me the opportunity to combine my personal and career goals,” says Ahmed. “It gives me the opportunity to have a more active role in the direction our company grows.”

“I see this as a behind-the-scenes leadership opportunity to ensure the continued success of Aguirre & Fields,” adds Hazzard. “I will endeavor to continue building upon the legacy that Oscar and Richard created 20 years ago.”

After being selected to participate in the program, associates learn of the duties and requirements in becoming a partner. The program helps ensure Aguirre & Fields remains an internally-held and operated company.

“Ensuring we remain closely held means we can continue to operate by our guiding principles and make a greater impact in our communities,” says Williams.

“To me it shows a commitment on the part of the owners to make sure that the company doesn’t lose its character,” adds Hahn. “They truly care about our culture and want to maintain it as we continue to grow.”

“I’m passionate about keeping our culture and upholding the guiding principles that Oscar and the support services group has led us with,” adds Lee. “I’m humbled and appreciative of the opportunity provided by the associates program to continue this culture.”
