The Westpark Tollway is a limited-access toll road serving western Houston and Harris County, and northeastern Fort Bend County. The Tollway provides much-needed mobility for communities in those areas. State Highway 99 (SH 99), also called the Grand Parkway, will be the longest beltway in the U.S., when complete. The Grand Parkway is intended to improve mobility, reduce congestion, and accommodate demographic and economic growth in the greater Houston area.

Aguirre & Fields performed the design of two new direct connectors at the Grand Parkway and Westpark Tollway in Fort Bend County. The interchange is a fully developed 5-level interchange. The original FM 1093 and SH 99 intersection was a depressed section and had an existing southbound to eastbound direct connector (DC). The project included a new westbound to northbound (WBNB) and eastbound to northbound (EBNB) direct connector.

Aguirre & Fields also designed the mainlane bridges and approaches for the Grand Parkway over the Westpark Tollway in Fort Bend County. The design consisted of parallel northbound and southbound bridges. Both bridges are 15 spans and 1,680 feet long.
